Dental
implants are artificial tooth roots. Implants
provide a stable foundation for the patient with
single or multiple tooth loss. A titanium
cylinder surgically implanted into the bone acts
as an artificial root. Once the healing of
the area has been completed a crown (cap) will
be placed on top of the implant. Implants
are a great alternative for patients with single
tooth loss who do not wish to have any of their
natural healthy tooth structure reduced for
fixed bridgework.
